Fragile and fleeting,
it fell out of their hands.
A treasure so valuable,
ever hunted by man.
The warriors grab their weapons,

shields of sorrow, swords of lust
Protected and prepared

to grasp what swiftly turns to dust.
The defeated return empty

lacking in will, heart, and soul,
But are there every winners

in what can never be controlled?
The passions, the power, the thrill, the thought,

the prize is well worth the battle that’s fought.
