I have been old
I am young
The sands of time
Shift, pause, and quiver
With the beating of my heart
I have been man
I have been woman
I have been mother
I have been brother
Air eons old should be stale
It should be weary and worn
It’s new, reborn
It’s old and shabby
I have lived in mountains
I have died in seas
I have breathed in sated air
All that has been
Is now apart of me
Nothing can be created
Nothing can be destroyed
All that is has only changed
I have prospered,
I have suffered
And one day I will be you
