Thrust on this grown man’s burden.
They say take this young man,
The American scapegoat,
Face of the master plan.
My forefathers could not control
Their sporadic spending,
On all the winless wars
Have generations mending.

Pile on that Grown Man’s burden.
Let’s pay that nation’s debt,
Accrued every session.
Do not fear that silhouette
One of life’s guarantees
Taxes I can’t easily flee
But now I can be at ease
For I know the second one is for free.
