rumors, lies, and butterflies
have finally made me realize
that we will like who we will,
and i will love you still.
for those of you who cannot see
what Middle School has done to me,
let me share my scars with you
of all those dreams that didnt come true.
time cannot mend the problems i've had
but friends will help sort through the bad
and help me see the good and true,
and i see me and you.
so speak your mind, my love, my friends
and maybe someday this will end,
this crap that makes our minds go wild
the stuff that happens to a child.
