I Win
Don't fall in love with someone you can't ever be with.
You'll be forever dreading that last kiss.
A final goodbye feels like a stab in the heart,
but I knew what I was getting myself into right from the start.
I'm so glad I fell in love with him,
but I'm going out on a limb.
I'll never see him again.
We can't even be friends.
I just cannot stand the pain.
It's an unfair game.
We will never be together.
Now now, not ever.
That doesn't keep me from loving him,
so that means that I win.
