Wedding Day
She stands still in that white dress as she does every night.
She calls out his name
But we all know he’s gone.
A day will come when she will forget that he left her
On their wedding day
But there’s no one there to love her
So she stands like a statue
She feels nothing anymore.
But how could she, he ripped her heart out
On their wedding day
She stood still for forty- years
Waiting for her heart to return.
He came back to find her standing still,
Were he left her
On their wedding day
He came back with her heart only to find
That worms filled up that missing void.
He came back
On their wedding day
Only to find,
She left as well
On their wedding day
