Ode to Snow

November 9, 2010
Oh, snow, how I love thee,
You glisten on the branches of every tree,
How I weep when your white layers flee,
You leave tracks where I tread.
Nothing can match you in your stead.
As you fly, your white shine lights up the evening sky.
I can’t describe your wonder,
No matter how hard I try.
Even though you are very shy,
When you soar to the ground, my morale soars high.
