Bad Dream.

I had a dream and it scared me so
It was about school if you really must know
I came to school all ready to go
Big tryouts for volleyball today you know
I had my ball, I pumped my fist
Went over the tips I wrote on my list
Coach said let’s go, get that ball served
I smiled real big, worked up some nerve
I smacked that ball, I hit it hard
Why did it only travel less than a yard
I tried to serve, I tried to spike
The ball missed the net each time – oh yike!
Coach said nice try, but really, yuk…
Thank goodness I picked right then to wake up!
