As I sit here and think about you

 My dreams are like a river
 Running dry
 But something is holding me back
 Whispering for me to hear
 That someone is listening
 And that you are near
 Although I know you're not
 I look around
 And as I listen
 I hear a sound
 I hear you as you whisper
 That the pain will erased
 And feel you as you kiss
 The tears from my face
 So now as I wonder
 I recognize your cry
 Realizing now
