Today I'm going to the zoo
To see the monkeys play
Also to see the elephants
It will be a great day!

There's a giraffe as tall as mountains
Snakes squirming on the ground
Cheetahs that are fascinating
And bright birds flying all around.

Zebras trot around in their cage
Fishes swim in their tank
Tigers are always on the prowl
Look an Orangutan!

The carefree camels are sleeping
Under the cool, dark shade
From the same tree that those monkeys
Jumped on the vines and swayed.

Time for everyone to go home
Everyon's all in smiles
A sunny day at the zoo has
Fun that lasts for miles!
