I am a blessed girl
I have a wonderful family and friends
They are always here for me
I have a roof over my head
And food on my table
I had a wonderful boyfriend who sadly broke my heart
I have difficult days
But I have God's faith to help me through
There are so many people who have no one
Thankfully, I do and I thank God
I have been asked to leave the path I am following
And take a darker path
But I resist knowing that it is the wrong turn
I am not perfect
I've made several mistakes
But I don't regret them
They have only made me a better person
I thank God that I am a blessed girl
