Winter Snowfall

By
Watching
The snow fall in intermittent flurries
Downward with no set path
Towards the ground
Tranquility
Gazing
Past the bare naked trees
Only covered by snow’s white blanket
Hearing
The haunting howl of the wind
Blowing up against the glass window
Shielding the unforgiving chill
From the warmth inside
