Nightmare

I have been doomed to the deepest consoles of my heart,
tearing you and me apart,
I see you fading in the distance,
you seem to fade with no resistance,
you are completely gone and out of sight,
I guess i'll be alone tonight,
wondering what could have been,
fighting with my heart i will never win,
everytime i drift to sleep,
I wake up screaming so i weep,
realizing it was just a scare,
in my everlasting nightmare.
