Favorite Quote:
"I contradict myself"

One day la muerte came to my house
I sqeauled and shrieked and hid like a mouse
I begged for her to go away
to spare my life escape this fate
She laughed at me and came my way
So I closed my eyes and thought of happier days
But to bad for her because she didnt know
That my door was locked, so she had to go.

In class we were assigned to write a poem about escaping death, mocking it in a way to learn about Dia de los muertos, nn Mexico. We are learning the way they take death and respond to it.
