Silence is a lonely trail,
Down which one travels alone.
When thoughts grow boring and stale,
When the whole world seem to be known,
Silence stands as the last unknown secret,
A riddle impossible to interpret.
Hidden in the quiet,
Lies and truth mingle and blend,
Stirring within us an unquiet,
A restlessness with no end.
The only path that can be taken
Is down the lonely trail.
