The Unknown Soldier

He walks head down,
with spirits low
He fights fiercely,
he fights with his gun ready,
he fights with willpower.
He helps others without a word.
You wonder,
who is he?
why is he here?
Is he fighting for money?
Or fame?
Or maybe just for something to do?
Then you know
He pulls out a picture,
its old and worn,
in it happiness is seen.
He fights for freedom.
He fights for safety
He fights for his country
