Mixed Girl

I am a 5’5 American girl
Guatemalan, Puerto Rican and the color of the night sky and snow is in my skin
I’ve grown up around black panthers all my life
I’m willing to fight for what I love
Like a dog defending her owner
I’m originally a Cherokee and not a Spartan
Climbing trees in the country, not the city
I’m from a little place called Gaffney
I stand for bold for they colors black and gold
I’ve come a long way with a lot of mother tigers directing me on my way
My family and church family has help guided me
Like a president board committee helping his election
I’m not weak but not too strong
I’m a mother- to- be
And will soon defend my own
My Father is ruler of everything
I’m the daughter of the Almighty King.
