October
The leaves change from green to red
Its getting dark, kids are ready for bed
Halloween is near
People can sense the exciting burst of fear
Decorations fill houses and yards
Ghosts hang from windows and on cards
It rains almost everyday
But the kids still go out and play
Rain boots and coats go on
When they come back, all you can hear is yawns
Winter is almost here
When Santa takes away the fear
But we must enjoy being in the moment while we can
Because we will never get to live it over again
