I love you, our wounds in the laughter, all the same

Lips to soften touches by the skin of the tear
teeth to light the silhouette, the force of the fear
hands to disregard the motion
Center of the beast, the ocean
Heart where in the heart lies thin
smiles set to second grin
stars exploding on the first
The day is hidden by the cursed
Spinning to a rainbow feel
Swirling in the growing real
Anonymity denies all the cries of the trick
Opened in a pencil, following the poisoned lick
Contagious, innocent, rageless
Giving up the limb to hold the vein in the pages
In a story for you. Me.

I wrote this about my favorite person. My best friend and will-be girlfriend(there are some current complications with business that keeps us from dating, but we will be). People are bound to hurt you. But this is about seeing past faults to love and having faith you won't be hurt again.
