Afraid of the dark

I was in Mexico in the summer of 2006.
I was playing with my cousins.
It was sunny and hot and we played all day until dark.
We started to scare each other.
First we were scared of the dark.
Then we were scared of each other
until our grandma told us it was time to go to bed.
When I tried to go to bed,
I was still to scared to sleep.
