With chocolates
And roses
And yummy yum sweet candies,
The fiancé comes home
To a man whom she fancies.
The lady was surprised
With a great smile you see.
For the man had a place
Of business to be.
She jumped into his arms
With tears of joy in her eyes,
And she gazed into his,
Which were as blue as the sky.
The lady asks laughing,
“Why are you home?”
Her fiancé answers
“You can’t spend Valentine’s Day alone.”
