That say in September
It was that day
when the streets filled with dust
and bodies of people lay
It was hard
to take that jump
to forget about who you are
No one expected them to fall
much less get hit
but the burning towers did not stay tall
The cries
the screams
lay in peoples eyes
It was that September day
when 911 stroke
and New York turned to gray
Maybe we never forget
maybe our hearts and souls yell out for the people
we wish we could just hit the reset
Our memories will never die
as uncle sam can still be in our lives
