Open hands hold out a gift.
Open hands, empty.
Singing voices ring meaning.
I hear no words nor note.
Closed eyes see nothing.
But sometimes they see more than you and I.
Open eyes see only what they see.
Open eyes can't see.
Open hands hold out a gift.
Closed eyes hold it dear and true and see.
Open hands are empty,
If you look for the gift they hold out.
Sometimes to hear the singing,
You have to close your eyes
And ears
And hold out your hands,
Open.
Open hands hold out a gift.
It's up to you to open it.
