Point A Finger
At any given moment
we are ready to point a finger,
Whether it's at the Jews, the Blacks
or at a crazy pop singer.
But do we ever stop to think
just maybe it's us?
That our bad habits
are why our children cuss?
Peers offering everything bad
and pressuring others,
But their answer reflex what they
learned from their mothers.
We have to trust
in what we taught in our young,
They act worse
the more we're high strung.
One day
We won't be able to coddle
But they're turn out just fine
If you were a good role model.
Take responsibility
and set reasonable expectations,
That way good habits will be passed down
through the generations.
