Sunset's Kiss
Pink and orange
paint the sky
as the sun will set
The last Kiss
left by light
is all that we can get
before the stars
peak out above
to stretch and rub their eyes
so they can glow
all night through
our world now clear of lies,
'cuase deep in slumber
lay all day creatures
dreaming of morning's light
and whispers and secrets
get tucked away
for peace throughout the night
