Forgiveness

I try to hide my tears,
So no one knows I have fears.
But the biggest fear I had,
Came true
And that makes me sad,
For the fact the fear was losing you.
Now I know I did wrong,
And it has been a long time now.
So that's why I'm writing this little song,
To ask you to forgive me because I feel really bad.
I'm sorry I hurt you,
but believe me when I tell you my love was true.
This is my confession,
Telling you I have learned my lesson.
