Not understanding, trying to make you feel low

Sing for the ones that help
And never once whine or yelp
Sing for those who cry
Filled with tears and don’t know why
Sing for those who hate and yell and pray and play
And laugh and giggle and scream and kick and smile
And whistle and give and thank and hurt
