Illegal Statue

Many people have come
To pray
To Jesus.
So,
Others will take advantage
Of a statue.
A 61-year-old Mexican man
Gave a woman
$80
To smuggle in a statue
To Laredo, Texas.
Police officers discovered
That this statue of Jesus
Was made of
6.6 pounds
Of
Cocaine.
The man was arrested.
The woman fled back to Mexico.
It was a very sad attempt
To smuggle
In
Drugs.

I dont really understand this poem. It could end up being kind of offensive to some people, but it shows what people will do for drugs.
