I was always there with speed to you,
Rejected, tired and true,
But here, I see now black and gray, instead of beige and blue.
Where is the golden sun?
Where are the sparkling sands?
Or have they forever been replaced
By the dark powers of our evil hands?
I bid you farewell today,
The green land I once held dear,
Until you finally return again,
I close the curtain here.
