This goes to all the teens
who had wishes, hopes, and dreams.
Here I stand alone with you,
Against a sea of stormy blue.
As we look far out into darkness with idealistic eyes
And everything is gone, we realize.
All the hopes, smuffed out like a flame.
All the dreams turn to nightmares of the same.
All the wishes longed for and lost.
All the pain our wants have cost.
Alone we stand on this solitary beach.
All we stand, motionless, our faces bleached.
Alone we stand, those forgotten souls of the past.
Alone we stand, we are the outcast.
