The Quilt

The quilt, with rows of colors in disarray
Submerged it's elegance in tears of gray
The water rush from essence of it's eye
Trap colors of the rainbow thus it brush by
Nearing the end, a color less traveled to
Offered a hearty wave seen only by few
The tear in its rugged state
Strolled upon a friend to wait
Swirled inbound a rainbow cheer
Its home is welcoming, its now here.
Tear turned stained but started clear
Accepting other colors shouldn't be in fear
The quilt, with a spiral of color mix today
Submerged it's elegance in tears of gray
The water rush from essence of it's eye
Falls whimsically to create quilt's dye
Showing there was a purpose for it to cry
