Awake for the night
Sleep for the day
No matter how tired
I'm alone, so it's okay.
Loss after loss
Dream after dream
Look only ahead
For the past is a forgotten stream.
The things I do have
Sometime are easy to forget
I remember the sick, poor, and dead
And am left in a sudden cold sweat
Fall so fast
Down such a far way
Darling, the only place to look
Is up, so please don't stray.
