There once was a boy named Jeff,
He didn’t want to get an “F”,
He talked to his friends in class,
Then was threatened not to pass,
So, he sat up in his chair and started to randomly stare,
An idea popped into his head,
This was great! Write a poem to pass all the time,
So Jeff began to write,
His thoughts were out of fright,
If he was to fail,
His mother would make him frail,
As Jeff wrote more and more until the class finally came to an end,
The next few days dragged on and on and soon the school year came to a close,
His hard work made his teacher very glad,
In return she called his dad.
