Silent

Silent
faint whisper of the wind
simply dodging through naked trees
whiteness fills the air
an essence of majesty sweeps me
a flurry of snowflakes scatter about
wisping around as a bitter coldness numbs my face
Silent
a crimson drop stains the white sheet before me
proof of my mortality
recognition of my existence
evidence that this is the beginning of the end
dark ravens quietly chat among themselves
gossiping the secrets of my downfall
whispering to each other the tales of my demise.
Silent
fate condemns me
pressured into this corner
a sheep among wolf,
ringing is the sweet sound of my last breath
carnage echoes
Silent
emotions spewed out on the snow
pity..envy..lust
all laid out for the angels to see
so they too, may know my harmonic demise
so they too, may know that i was
romantically self-destructive
