The Girl in the Red Dress

Red dress upon her skin.
Dirty and torn.
Once beautiful.
Beautiful like her.

Her soul is gone.
She feels no more.
Loves no more.
Hates no more.

Tie her up.
Damage her.
Nothings left.
She won't scream.

The girl in the red dress.
Abused left alone.
Only four of age.
Dead now.

He beat her.
He hurt her.
Left her there to cry.
Left her there to die.

The girl in the red dress.
Eyes closed.
Face torn.
Peacful sleep.

Her daddy is gone.
Running.
Running.
Running.

His shirt is painted red.
No tears.
No love.
No hate.

He cast an ugly look.
An ugly look upon her face.
He left her there.
Upon the ground.

Left her there to cry.
Left her there to die.
Little girl all alone.
Nothing left.

Red and blue.
Lights flash.
Flash all over her skin.
Flash all over her body.

There too late.
She's lifeless.
He's gone.
Nothing left.

The girl in the red dress.
Dead upon the dirt.
Not a trace.
Not a story.

She's put into the ground.
No one there to mourn.
The girl in the red dress.
Now gone.

Red dress upon her skin.
Dirty and torn.
Once beautiful.
Beautiful like her.

I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.
