Girl of Music

September 29, 2007
By Anonymous

I was the girl of music,
I was the lord of color,
and I drifted
through the sea.
The cloak of night
around my shoulders,
the vibrant light of the moon
as my gown.
I flew through the sky
on wings of wondrous blue.
I echo the choir of flutes,
the chorus of bells,
the beautiful
voice.
I hear the possibility,
and the love,
and the kindness,
and the breath
of the sea.
I whispered in my ear.
You let me in.
You needed a friend.
I was the energy.
Now I am yours.
