Souls are broken and shattered
Hearts are torn and tattered
Feelings are forgotten and erased
Dreams are lost and misplaced

Futures never revealed
Secrets never sealed
Tears held back
Minds off track

Smiles start to decease
As death begins to increase
Children are filled with sorrow
Some teens won't see tomorrow

Bones fragile and weak
Eyes pure and unique
Loves patient, but rushed
Lives ruined and crushed
