Ode to my Heart

My heart gets bigger every second I write this poem,
And think about somebody special!
I love my heart for what it does,
And how it makes me feel,
*Thank you my heart*
Someone special, who could it, be?
I can’t get this person off my mind,
This feeling, is it because of my heart?
But I keep hearing something oh what is it?
It sounds like a beat, racing at a steady pace could it be?
I just can’t leave this alone,
For the closer I get to you,
I hear my favorite song.
I thank your heart,
I my heart,
Hopefully they will never drift apart.
