A light has left our land

A light has left our land
and memories are all that remain
a beauty has gone past our hands
a dream has now faded
a soul has left us gracefully
a time has passed its purpose
but really what hurts the most
is knowing that it was all worth it
my heart hurts now
my body feels empty
i am mad at god for the pain
but i prey every day that every thing past
this will be okay
please look over me as an angel
cuz now i need you hear the most
but all i see now is a broken heart and an unknown ghost.
