The rain pours down outside my window
I hear the drops pounding on the roof
Sadness overcomes me as the sky darkens
Then a ray of sun shines through the dark
I am filled with joy as I stare at the rainbow
Curving over the trees
I hear the birds start to chirp
And my world is right again
