Calm lies
Flow out of your mouth
Seeping into the minds
Of the innocent
Calm lies
Calm lies
Whispering
Just
Where I can’t deny them
Killing
My morals
My reputation
My strong stature
Your sick, calm, twisted lies
You let them roll off your tongue
They run to infect others
Plague the world
They do your bidding
Running to destroy more minds
To makes them all yours
Your calm lies know no bounds
They shake the foundation of trust
They make the truth question
Itself?
Your calm lies
Have severed so many ties
Ruined all too many lives
You and your calm lies
Betray us all
Lie to us
Hurt us
Degrade us
Shake us
Kill our trust
Calm lies
Flowing so freely from between
Your darkened lips
Your addled mind naught but a machine
Fueling the fire to
And encouraging nothing but
Your
Cold
Cruel
Calm

Lies
