You don't see me as me, you see me as them, the popular ones with their skirts all a hem, you tell me your popular, you remind me everyday, but maybe i want you to see me a different way, i want you to hang with me for me, not for my crowd, not because i'm funny or pretty or skinny or loud, you don't have to focus on it so much, don't you get it, that stuff doesn't matter, your only focus cannot be climbing the popularity ladder, who decides who's cool and who's not, is what i want to know, who decides who's high up and who decides who's down low, you may think i'm popular but maybe i don't see it that way, maybe everyone could be friends, wouldn't that be okay.
