Flying

May 29, 2008
By Sarah Kesteloot, Clarkston, MI

She flew high upon the clouds,
sailing along with the wind.
She saw the dew drops fall
meeting with grassy planes.
She breathed in the scent of flowers in the atmosphere,
lillies and lavender in her veins.
"Don't cry," she whispered.
"I won't be far."
She took her final breath of flowers, and fell from the sky,
onto the dew drenched Earth.
