The most wonderful thing
Is holding a child’s hand
Like setting on the beach
In the warm summer sand
It’s like riding down the road
On your brand new bike
At the break of dawn
In the warm sunlight
It’s like trying something new
That you have never tried before
Or a place you have never seen
Or ever toured before
It’s like riding a horse
For you very first time
Ridding on its back
Hearing the rain chime
The most wonderful thing
About holding a child
Is that you will never forget
The first time you touch their soft warm hand.
