The Way People Are!

Its canny the way people are,
Wondering whom they were,
Wishing they would come back down to
reality,
Seething with unmeasured destruction,
Taking them down the wrong direction,
Asking to play with fire,
As they are walking on a thin wire,
With a path leading to heaven,
And a path leading to hell,
Wondering if I'll even hear her yell,
Knowing all wasn't right,
While they had become tight.
