Little Angel
Tonight’s your night.
God himself explains
My child
You have served well
For such a young one.
But I need you here
To sit upon my lap
And be a gracious
Angel.
I agree my dear Father.
I respond back
As I do so
Two marvelous Angels
Come beside me
Playing their harp so soft
They take my hand
So gently
It feels like only a breeze
Brush against my skin
As we float up into the
Heavens
I hear my name
As we get closer
I drift into sleep
Where I would forever stay
With Him, up there
