Glistening blankets of snow
Coat the snow banks and the barren branches.
The frigid and wispy breath of the bitter winds
That bite nearby sleigh riders.
February memoirs are devotion and compassion
From a dozen red roses to a simple “I love you.”
Wholeheartedness and tenderness is toned with
Spicy cinnamon scented candles and homemade dinners,
Whose reactions are tears of joy and smiles of adoration.
By night the smoky fireplace is lit and glowing,
Awaiting for someone to cozy up to it and to
Have the relaxed and relieved tension feeling
Which this time portrays


The author's comments:
The freer in this time the better because nothing lets you know that is has come to be winter than the cold, and excrutiating sensation of icy snow stunning your body with chills.
