Goodbye Moon
My eyes turn down and my heart sinks slowly,
I lift my head to watch you, my sweet boy.
I’ll miss you when you’re gone.

Gloomy, gray puffs roll in the sky,
Hiding the sun and bright blue day.
My eyes turn down and my heart sinks slowly.

We used to laugh and play merrily as if the day would never end.
Now we are together from sundown till a new day begins.
I’ll miss you when you’re gone.

The Sun and Moon fall from the saddened skies,
As we part and have to make anew.
My eyes turn down and my heart sinks slowly.

I love the way you say my name
And clutch my hands to keep me safe.
I’ll miss you when you’re gone.

All the light that We possess fades away;
Covered by the saddened skies.
My eyes turn down and my heart sinks slowly.
I’ll miss you when you’re gone.
