Making my bed
All the motions inside me
It should all be let free
Worried about the day ahead
How did I make my bed
Did I make it on the image that is not true to me
Did I make it by the things everyone wanted to see
No, no that isn't the way
However I made it
Now I must lay
One thing about making a bed is
You can always redo the mistake
While this is life
Those mistakes, you’ll have to partake
So don’t tell me how to live
For with or without you
For the best I strive
So next time you want to offer your advice
Keep it to yourself and remember this
You made your mistake, just don’t do it twice
And just to let you know
I put my heart to the test
And it worked out for the best
