Am I suppose to believe in dalliance
I've been taught love can't be brief

love should never be everescent
isn't it suppose to stay here
being protected by angel wings

love is to mellifuous for me
never had a taste
because I don't know if I should believe

you'd think one of these days
I'd have an epiphany

Love at first sight
but what happens if your blind

not blinded by love
but by belief
that love is a disguise

Believe it's fear
ignorance I behold

but love has been shown to be unjust
and it will decieve
love is just lust

that is all it will ever be
